For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water flow from the heart
of anyone who believes in Me.’”

Our Elementary Ministry wants to “Develop Children and Families Who Thirst for God!”. Our desire is to reach every child with the truth of the Gospel... God loves them and desires to have a relationship with them. We use a variety of avenues in Sunday School classes, Kids Church and AWANA to reach children where they are today. From eye and ear-catching multimedia to puppets that keep them laughing... the ultimate goal is to bring about change in the lives of children.

Sundays: 8am, 9:15am & 10:45am

Wednesdays: 6:30pm

What happens in my child's class?

Our desire is to reach every child with the truth of the Gospel, that God loves them and desires to have a relationship with His children.  We use a variety of avenues to reach children where they are today.  We believe in teaching, not just babysitting, so we use curriculum that is tailored to elementary aged children. From multimedia that catches their attention to puppets that keep them laughing; the ultimate goal is to bring about change in the lives of children. On Wednesday evenings, Fall through Spring, we have AWANA! Boys and girls frequently come to an understanding of their need to trust Christ as their personal Savior while in Kindergarten to 2nd grade, we teach the AWANA "Sparks" program for this reason. "T&T" (Truth & Training) is for the 3rd - 6th graders, boys and girls learn the truth of God's Word and are trained to follow Christ in their daily lives. We want today’s young people to become tomorrow’s leaders, in and outside the church walls. T&T is the program that trains the leaders of tomorrow -today. On Wednesdays in the Summer, we still teach simple biblical truths, but we add a LOT of summer-time fun! We may go outside to play and learn on the playground or even have water play!

How do I find a class for my child?
One of the most important ministries within Bethlehem is our small groups. In the Elementary department, we call these small groups "Overflow". We all, especially children, desire to build close friendships and that is easiest when children are around small groups of their peers. Each Sunday morning, there are two opportunities to be a part of an Overflow class: 8am and 10:45am. All classes are broken down by grade, some are also broken down further by gender.

The "Flood" is our worship service geared toward 1st-3rd graders and meets at 9:15am on Sunday’s. During this service, kids will learn valuable lessons that will help them in their daily lives, through puppets, music, Bible lessons, videos and more!

The "Cross Current" is our worship service geared toward 4th - 6th graders that meets at 9:15am on Sunday mornings. This service features it’s own praise band, “Riptide,” and the messages focus on issues that preteen face every day.

Do you have a Wellness Policy?
Yes! We will do our part to prevent the spreading of any disease in the children's classrooms. The rooms are always cleaned and disinfected prior to use, and hand sanitizers are in every room.

Our Wellness Policy will be enforced for the health of all children and teachers:

1. Do not bring any child who has had a fever, earache, diarrhea or vomiting within the
24 hours prior to the service or event.
2. We will not admit children who display discolored drainage or skin rash.
3. We will call parents out of service to pick up children who show signs of illness whenever  
they become apparent.
